So…when is the date again?

I’ll be posting my next tutorial date in this page…decided to do so since I would like the Home page to be a place where I can say other random things to entertain myself.

So, the next tutorial will be…

1. Who should attend this basic photography tutorial?

If you ask me on what setting that I used to take on “one particular photo” then you should attend this because I will share (and make sure you get the understanding) on how to “meter light” to get the setting for right exposure using your very own in-camera “light meter” Remember, setting is “measured and judge by you on site/location.. and not remembered by heart

I will also share on the theory and practical on how your camera sensor response to light and will cover on “M”, “A”, “S” and how to use the “P” button for fast and accurate exposure..

MAIN HIGHLIGHT IN THIS TUTORIAL

• The exposure is determined by how much light reaches the camera’s sensor. A “good exposure ” means that your photo is not too bright or too dark. There are two settings that control your exposure: aperture and shutter speed. They also have a big affect on the appearance of the subject or scene you’re photographing. The details about these settings can get a little technical, but bear with me. If you understand the general idea of aperture and shutter speed, it will make it easier for you to capture the pictures you want.

• Metering refers to how the camera is reading the light on your subject or scene. Once you get this.. taking any photo is “NOT” a “BLIND TRIAL AND ERROR” anymore

• Knowing how your camera sees the tones i a scene will help you get the exposure you need.

• at the end of the tutorial – “NO MORE – GUESS SETTING” – every participant is able to get at least 90% exposure accuracy on their 1st single shot! Trust me…
